A busy stretch of Route 22 was temporarily closed down after a car was T-boned turning into a popular Southeast restaurant.

New York State Police troopers responded to the incident Putnam County at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19.

The investigation into the crash determined that an SUV was making a left into Kelly’s Corner in Brewster, when it was broadsided by a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The crash forced southbound lane closures.

No injuries have been reported.
